Horse riders, owners, breeders and event organisers alike are no doubt familiar with the time and tribulations associated with transporting equines. Whether looking for a trailer to take the beloved family pony to the local show to transporting multi-million dollar bloodstock to an international track on another continent - the 'dramas' of horse transportation are very similar. Equitrip aims to ease this process by connecting equine transportation companies of all sizes and air-cargo specialists with potential clients with similar travel requirements and itineraries. Equitrip will be the first of its kind to connect the Equine transport sector on a global scale. Millions of horses are transported each year over land and by air relocating to new homes or to compete in a variety of events.
Horse riding and breeding have multiple disciplines ranging from Showjumping and dressage to racing bloodstock, endurance, flat racing and the many variations of Western riding and in-hand showing. Equine transportation is big business across the globe but it's also one of the most difficult to coordinate.
The application has been designed for ease of use and has specific access to admin’ panels for transport companies to upload their travel itineraries on the Equitrip Global website. This will enable them to enter their available spaces, destinations, routes, costings and the related vaccinations, veterinary checks and quarantine requirements for that particular journey.
Individual clients, once registered, have a members’ area allowing them to load their travel requirements and upload their equine’s passport and vaccination details.
